Birthday Bridge Walk
“Breathtaking” and “picturesque” do not often make the top of the “words you associate with New York City” list.

Yesterday was Jeremy’s birthday. March can be an iffy month in terms of temperature, but since the birthday gods and weather gods so generously coordinated their schedules this year, I decided that an outdoor celebration was in order. Our evening began with a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset.

…we made it to Brooklyn. By this point we were both pretty hungry, so we headed down towards the dock for dinner. And dessert. With a candle, of course!

After a lovely meal, we ended the night by retracing our steps back to Manhattan. Thank you New York for a wonderful night!
